This Christmas, Sant Cugat City Council, through the Municipal Sports Office for Everyone (OMET), is organizing the OMET League, a multi-sport tournament aimed at boys and girls from 5th grade of Primary to 2nd year of ESO. This initiative was a success during the Festa Major with the FM League night tournament, and now returns for Christmas.

Target Audience: For children and young people from 5th and 6th grade Primary and 1st and 2nd year ESO
Date: Monday, December 22, 2025
Time: From 4 PM to 8:30 PM
Location: Zona Esportiva Municipal de la Rambla del Celler (pavilions 1, 2, 3)
Registration
FREE. Starting Thursday, November 27.
- Teams of 4 to 6 boys/girls.
- All teams must have an adult acting as a delegate.
- Each participant can register for only one of the 4 tournaments offered.
- Registration deadline: Wednesday, December 17.
- Registrations will be limited by order of completion.
Sports Modalities
BASKETBALL 3×3, FOOTBALL 3×3, VOLLEYBALL 4×4, HANDBALL 4×4 (alevín category only)
- ALEVÍN TOURNAMENT: 5th and 6th grade Primary
- INFANTIL TOURNAMENT: 1st and 2nd year ESO
General Regulations
- For each sport modality, 8 teams per category (alevín and infantil) can register.
- Competition system: – 2 groups of 4 teams per category and sport. – Round-robin (all against all, one round). – Semifinal and final. – Minimum of 3 matches per team.
- Each match will last 12 minutes.
- Power Cards: Each team will receive 5 cards with special advantages at the beginning of the tournament, which can be used during the tournament. Each mixed team will receive two additional cards.
- POWER CARDS:
- FIRE TIME: the team has the option to activate fire time, which will be 1 minute of stopwatch during which all their points/goals will count double.
- SUPERIORITY: the other team will have to play for 1 minute with one player less.
- HANDS HELD: 2 members must play for 3 attacks holding hands to defend.
- 2 CONSECUTIVE ATTACKS: grants 2 consecutive ball possessions.
- WILDCARD: the team with this card can invalidate a superpower of the other team.
- PENALTY / EXTRA SHOT: the team with this card can take a penalty / shot.
- Each sport will have specific regulations.
