Mini Basketball - Oficina Municipal d'Esports per a Tothom.

Mini Basketball

Introductory mini basketball is an activity designed for children aged 6–8 years to experience the game of basketball in a comprehensive, playful, and fully adapted manner to their development.

The focus is not so much on technique, but rather on discovering the game, understanding how to move, dribble the ball, pass it, and shoot at a basket with an adapted height. The sessions are based on motor skill games, circuits, and highly active exercises that allow for the acquisition of basic skills in a natural and fun way.

Children do not participate in formal weekly competitions; instead, we will organize quarterly gatherings where adapted 3-on-3 matches and skill stations will be held.
