Once again, the Municipal Sports Office for Everyone (OMET) is organizing the 2026 School Swimming Championship, which will take place on Sunday, February 22 at the municipal swimming pool of the ZEM Rambla del Celler. This competition is aimed at non-federated children and young people from Sant Cugat and the surrounding region, from the Pre-benjamí to the Infantil categories.

Location: Municipal Swimming Pool of the ZEM Rambla del Celler (Eurofitness)
Aimed at: Non-federated school-age children and young people born between 2012 and 2019
Events
Participants may register for one, two, or three of the following styles:
- Freestyle
- Breaststroke
- Backstroke
The distances will be:
- 25 m for the Pre-benjamí and Benjamí categories
- 50 m for the Aleví and Infantil categories
Categories and schedules
- Pre-benjamí 1st year (2019): 3:30 PM
- Pre-benjamí 2nd year (2018): 4:30 PM
- Benjamí (2016–2017): 5:30 PM
- Aleví (2014–2015): 7:00 PM
- Infantil (2012–2013): 8:00 PM
Participants must enter the facility 30 minutes before their category’s scheduled time.
Awards
- Pre-benjamí and Benjamí: participation medal for all children
- Aleví and Infantil: medal for the top 3 finishers in each event
Spectators
Capacity is limited; for this reason, we recommend limiting the number of companions per child.
