This past Saturday, February 7, the 16th Regional Sports Dance Meeting took place at PAV3 of the ZEM Rambla del Celler.
A total of 23 teams participated in the categories of pre-benjamí (2018-2019), benjamí (2016-2017), aleví (2014-2015), infantil (2012-2013), cadet (2010-2011), and juvenil (2008-2009), with a total of 250 dancers.
This activity, of a local and regional nature, included the participation of 6 schools from Sant Cugat: Catalunya, Ciutat d’Alba, Joan Maragall, Gerbert d’Orlhac, Turó de Can Mates, and Avenç. The Pere Viver, Enxaneta, and Joaquima Vedruna schools, as well as the Club Kimura Gym, all from Terrassa, also participated.
It is a day for exhibition, promotion, and a meeting point aimed at urban dance students who practice this or other similar sports disciplines as extracurricular activities in schools, within the school sports program organized by OMET.
