Closing Festival – May 30

OMET’s Closing Festival is approaching, and this year it comes with new features. Until now, OMET’s end-of-course activities have taken place over several days, with closing events for various activities and the awarding of school sports medals. This year, all these activities will be unified into a single day, Saturday, May 30, from 9 AM to 9 PM, and will take place in the 3 pavilions of ZEM Rambla del Celler, the Canigó hall, and around Plaça de la Vila.

The day will be structured as a sports festival, featuring:

  • Sports closing events for the different activities, either in tournament format, exhibitions, or open classes, with prior registration.
  • Activity areas for age groups open to OMET users.
  • Medal ceremony for school sports participants (either on the stage to be set up in front of the town hall, or at the end of the sports closing events).

Some activities will require prior registration, which we will provide to you.

ZEM Rambla del Celler – PAV1

Morning:

  • 9 AM to 1 PM. Handball tournament in the Alevín category. 1 PM Medal and trophy ceremony. Team registration through sports coordination.

Afternoon:

  • 3:30 PM to 7 PM. Handball tournament in the Benjamín category. 7 PM Medal and trophy ceremony. Team registration through sports coordination.

 

ZEM Rambla del Celler – PAV2

Morning:

  • 9 AM to 12 PM. Open sessions Yoga and Pilates (adults and seniors program). Prior registration via form.
  • 12 PM to 2 PM. Minihandball teams event. Team registration through sports coordination.

Afternoon:

  • 3:30 PM to 5 PM. Minibasketball teams event. Team registration through sports coordination.
  • 5:30 PM to 6 PM. Skating group exhibition.
  • 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Rhythmic Gymnastics groups exhibition.

 

ZEM Rambla del Celler – PAV3

Morning:

  • 9 AM to 11 AM. 3×3 Basketball tournament in the Alevín category. 11 AM Medal and trophy ceremony.
  • 11:30 AM to 2 PM. 3×3 Basketball tournament in the Benjamín category. 2 PM Medal and trophy ceremony.

Team registration through sports coordination.

Afternoon:

  • 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Alevín Volleyball tournament and Benjamín Volleyball event. Medal and trophy ceremony. Team registration through sports coordination.
  • 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Open Space for Traditional and Alternative Sports for OMET users from 5th grade to 2nd ESO.

 

Plaça de la Vila Stage

Morning:

  • 10 AM to 11 AM: Latin Rhythms showcase by adult and senior groups.
  • 11 AM to 12:30 PM. Urban Dances showcase by OMET school groups.

Afternoon:

  • 4 PM to 8 PM. Awarding of participation medals and trophies to 7-a-side football, senior volleyball, athletics, cycling, padel, initiation, multisport, and motor skills groups.

 

Children’s March Passage

Morning:

  • 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Open Multisport Area for OMET users from 1st to 4th grade.
  • 12:30 PM to 2 PM. Seniors Closing Event for OMET users.

Afternoon:

  • 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Rapid Chess. Prior registration via form for OMET students.
  • 4:30 PM to 8 PM. Open Multisport Area for OMET users from 1st to 4th grade.

 

Table Tennis Room (PAV1)

Morning:

  • 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Doubles Table Tennis tournament for Benjamín and Alevín categories. Prior registration via form. 12:30 PM Medal and trophy ceremony.

 

Canigó Hall

Morning:

  • 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Open sessions Dance (adults and seniors). Prior registration via form.

Afternoon:

  • 4 PM to 5 PM. Open Motor Skills Area for children aged 3 to 5.
  • 5 PM to 8 PM. Crosstraining Area +16 years. Prior registration via form.
