OMET

The OMET is the Municipal Office of Sports for Everyone in Sant Cugat del Vallès. This office is part of the City Council’s Sports Department. It was established over 40 years ago with the aim of meeting the population’s needs for physical and recreational activities.

It manages public service, from administration to the technical development of activities, services, and programs. These physical activity programs and services are aimed at the entire population:

  • School Sports: From 3 to 16 years old
  • Physical activity for adults: From 16 years old
  • Physical activity for seniors: From 65 years old
  • Occasional Activities: All ages
  • Summer, Christmas, and Easter Sports Activities: for children and young people
  • Physical activities for young people
  • Support for sports entities
  • Revitalization of sports facilities

OMET was created with the objective of providing the various services requested by citizens:

  • DEVELOPMENT and MANAGEMENT of the different municipal programs.
  • ORGANIZATION of occasional activities.
  • ADVICE and SUPPORT for sports entities in Sant Cugat.
  • INFORMATION on both public and private sports activities carried out in our municipality.

To achieve these services, OMET’s operational structure has been divided into three main blocks corresponding to each of the municipal programs managed, without neglecting the administrative part that provides information and advice to users.

Our office is located between PAV 1 and PAV 3 of the Municipal Sports Zone of Rambla del Celler, at Passatge Baró de Coubertín, 5 in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The general opening hours for public service are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 7 PM. Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The summer, Christmas, and Easter opening hours for public service are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM. Closed in August.
