We offer the opportunity for instructors starting out in school sports teaching to access the ROPEC Official Register of Sports Professionals (ROPEC) by supplementing their CIATE training. To complete the course for sports promotion activity instructors, the following three training blocks must be passed:
- CIATE Play and Sport
- CIATE Management of Small Sports Entities
- First Aid Course
To obtain the certification required to register with ROPEC, you must have successfully completed the 3 Training Blocks + 150 internship hours and hold an ESO (Secondary Education) certificate or equivalent.
From Sant Cugat City Council, we understand that the training of the technical team is key to ensuring that the sports activities offered are as educational and enriching as possible.
This course is a program of the Catalan Sports Council (Consell Català de l’Esport) carried out by the Municipal Office of Sport for All (OMET) of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
Now, during the Christmas period, we have the opportunity to complete the CIATE training in Play and Sport in School Age, as well as Management of Small Sports Entities and First Aid provided by OMET.
With the training from the following blocks, you can obtain the accreditation to access the Official Register of Sports Professionals (ROPEC):
- 1st Block: PLAY and SPORT IN SCHOOL AGE.
- 2nd Block: MANAGEMENT OF SMALL SPORTS ENTITIES + 150 internship hours and FIRST AID.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 16 years old by the first day of the course (if under 18, an authorization from a legal guardian must be attached).
- Photo of both sides of the ID card (DNI), which must be attached at the time of registration.
- Proof of completion of compulsory secondary education (ESO).
- Submit a federation license or a medical certificate of fitness for sports practice; it does not need to be an official form.
- Complete the online registration form and attach the required documentation.
- Bank account number.

From Sunday, December 21 to Saturday, January 3.
From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM (Wednesday, December 31 only until 2:00 PM).
