{"id":17517,"date":"2026-03-02T10:18:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T10:18:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omet.santcugat.cat\/uncategorized\/l8met-et-m8u\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T10:18:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T10:18:33","slug":"l8met-et-m8u","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omet.santcugat.cat\/en\/specific-activities\/l8met-et-m8u\/","title":{"rendered":"L\u20198MET et M8U"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark International Women&#8217;s Day, OMET is organizing <strong>L\u20198MET et M8U<\/strong>, a sports event that aims to promote female physical activity and advocate for strength training as its own space.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place on <strong>March 8, 2026<\/strong>, from <strong>9:30 AM to 11:15 AM<\/strong>, at <strong>Joan Maragall school<\/strong>, and is aimed at <strong>women aged 16 and over<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two Crosstraining sessions<\/strong> will be held, led by a female coach and competitor in the discipline.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9:30 AM to 10:15 AM<\/li>\n<li>10:30 AM to 11:15 AM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each participant may register for one of the two sessions. Capacity is limited. The activity is designed for all levels, including beginners, with materials and proposals that will allow intensity to be adapted according to each participant&#8217;s level and experience.  <\/p>\n<p>This event also aims to connect with the work we are developing at OMET in the afternoon conditioning classes, where we are increasingly incorporating methodologies based on functional and strength training.<\/p>\n<p>A small meeting area with refreshments and snacks will also be provided to foster camaraderie among attendees.<\/p>\n<p>Registrations will be made via the following link and will close once capacity is reached. <a href=\"https:\/\/omet.playoffinformatica.com\/actividad\/168\/L-8MET-et-M8U\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/omet.playoffinformatica.com\/actividad\/168\/L-8MET-et-M8U\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We encourage you to participate!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To mark International Women&#8217;s Day, OMET is organizing L\u20198MET et M8U, a sports event that aims to promote female physical activity and advocate for strength training as its own space.
